Once again, Van Doorne achieved an excellent score in the Financial Times’ report ‘Innovative Lawyers 2015’, the leading benchmark for the innovative power of law firms in Europe.
Commendations
With commendations for innovations in de categories Strategic Resourcing, Technology and Dispute Resolution, Van Doorne achieved the highest score in de rankings of all the Dutch law firms taking part. Our innovations crowned by the jury provided for the creation of a business line to leverage document automation for volume work (Strategic Resourcing), the creation of an analytical pricing tool (Technology) and the introduction of the concept of multi-party arbitration into the Dutch insurance market (Dispute Resolution).
Innovation at Van Doorne
he high ranking is confirmation of the importance Van Doorne attaches to innovation. In addition to the innovations which Van Doorne introduces into daily practices for its clients, it also organises an annual internal competition, with an external jury, to assess innovations and ideas which have been effected that year. Moreover, in 2015, Van Doorne is proud to be a legal partner of the Accenture Innovation Awards for the second consecutive year. On 30 October, the Accenture Innovation Awards will – for the ninth time – be presented for the most innovative products, services or concepts in the Netherlands.
FT Innovative Lawyers
Annually, the Financial Times and RSG Consulting, a legal strategy consultancy, compile the rankings list of Innovative Lawyers; this was the tenth edition. The basis of the rankings is innovative ideas; on the one hand those with legal substance and, on the other, those which impact the processes and organisation of law firms. This year saw a total of 600 innovations, in 10 categories, being submitted by law firms from throughout Europe.
