Ivo Dorresteijn

Ivo is part of the Corporate Law team at Van Doorne. He assists various Dutch and international companies and focuses on all aspects of corporate law, including the guidance of mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, Ivo advises on corporate governance and transactions related to private equity, venture capital, and joint ventures. Ivo has broad knowledge of corporate law in a general sense.

Previously, Ivo was part of the Arbitration team, where he worked on complex disputes before both the Dutch courts and in arbitration proceedings. He was involved in various investment arbitrations and (international) arbitrations concerning post-M&A and commercial disputes.

With a keen eye for detail, a sense of humor, and a pragmatic approach, Ivo always remains focused. He studied at Leiden University, where he completed a bachelor’s degree in Law and Economics and a master’s degree in Corporate Law.
