Ruud is part of Van Doorne’s IT team. He advises and litigates on IT agreements, outsourcing projects and other complex issues with an IT component. Ruud has specific experience in negotiating and contracting in regulated sectors, like the financial sector, for instance.

Due to his STEM background and natural interest in technology and people, Ruud is good at getting to the bottom of difficult issues relatively quickly and in finding solutions that are embraced by all those involved.
Before becoming a lawyer, Ruud completed a two-year management traineeship and then worked as a management consultant. In part because of this experience, Ruud is easily able to put himself in the client’s shoes and knows better than anyone that legal advice should preferably be practically applicable and in line with the client’s strategic objectives.
