Sophie is part of the corporate/M&A team as a candidate civil-law notary with a focus on corporate law and corporate governance. Sophie advises on and completes acquisitions, takeovers and national/international structures like joint ventures, mergers and demergers. In addition, Sophie advises (start-up) companies on setting up investment structures and assists during investment rounds (venture capital).
Sophie is a committed and approachable advisor. She also has a keen understanding of human interactions. As a result, Sophie is the first point of contact for many clients and she maintains long-term client relationships with them.
With her pragmatic and positive mindset, Sophie is a real team player who enjoys working with others to achieve the best result. In this regard, she understands and respects the interests of all those involved.
Sophie completed the Corporate/M&A postgraduate course at VU University and currently works for Van Doorne in London.
