Tom specialises in commercial litigation, class actions (including in the field of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)) and international arbitration. He has broad knowledge and experience in civil procedural law, liability law and contract law.

Tom regularly represents national and international companies and investors both in and out of court. He has been involved in many high-profile cases in the Dutch and international legal sphere in recent years, particularly in the Energy and Retail sectors.

Before joining Van Doorne in 2022, Tom spent more than seven years in De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek’s litigation practice.

In addition to his work as a lawyer, Tom is on the editorial staff of the Dutch journal on attachment, enforcement and legal procedure: Tijdschrift Beslag, Executie en Rechtsvordering in de praktijk (BER).
