Van Doorne advised RockRose (NL) CS5 B.V., a subsidiary of Viaro Energy, on the partial takeover of the licence F5/F4A East in the Dutch North Sea from de Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij B.V. (NAM).
Viaro Energy will acquire a 10 percent share of the F5/F4a East licences from NAM, which may reduce to 4 percent if Neptune Energy, F5A operator, pre-empts the transaction. Following completion and assuming no pre-emption, the licence holders will be Viaro Energy 31.67 percent, Neptune Energy (operator) 28.33 percent and EBN 40 percent. Viaro Energy has operated and non-operated interests in a broad portfolio of assets including but not limited to assets in the Southern North Sea, Central North Sea and the Netherlands.
