Koen brings a sense of calm as well as creative solutions to complex conflict situations faced by companies. These are often situations that mark an important turning point in the company’s existence. Koen unerringly knows how to navigate between and appreciate the various (conflicting) stakeholder interests. Koen does not lose sight of the social aspects of his work; he always feels it is his responsibility to try to ensure that his work has a positive impact on society as a whole.
His approach is result-oriented. The right (litigation) strategy is, of course, determined in consultation with the client, with the conduct of legal proceedings never being an end in itself, but a means to achieve results for the client. Since completing an economics degree (2023), Koen is better able to translate the legal aspects into his clients’ economic reality.
