Robert-Jan specializes in corporate law and related notarial law. He advises (listed) companies on their mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and (re)financing. Robert-Jan also has ample experience with corporate restructurings, public takeover bids and corporate governance.

Robert-Jan studied Notarial law at the University of Groningen and earned a postgraduate degree (cum laude) in Corporate and Company Law.

Before joining Van Doorne, Robert-Jan worked at Loyens & Loeff, including two years in their New York office.

Robert-Jan is a member of the Royal Dutch Association for Civil Law Notaries.
