Robert-Jan specialises in corporate law and related notarial law. He advises and assists (listed) companies in their mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and (re)financings. In addition, Robert-Jan has extensive experience in corporate governance, restructuring and management incentive plans.

Robert-Jan studied notarial law at the University of Groningen and obtained a postgraduate degree (cum laude) in company and corporate law from the Grotius Academy. He regularly publishes articles in the field of corporate law.
Before joining Van Doorne, Robert-Jan worked at Loyens & Loeff, including two years at their New York office.
